My favorite new design magazine is LONNY and you can find it online at lonnymag.com. Founded by the adorable and talented Michelle Adams who was an Assistant Editor at DOMINO, LONNY debuted in January and has a devoted readership that is growing by leaps and bounds. The minute I saw the first issue and met Michelle, I knew I had to find a project for them to photograph. LONNY‘s point of view is young and fresh, and is filled with helpful information and ideas that everyone can use. For a passionate home owner and shopper like I am, the coolest thing about LONNY is that you can click on products on each page and be connected directly to the web sites that sell them. How smart and easy is that?
Well the June/July issue is just out and a fabulous seaside condominium I designed is featured, titled “Island Retreat”. It is a getaway place for a lively family who wanted a relaxed, easy maintenance home where they could have fun and unwind. With the expert help of designer Elizabeth Swartz from my office, we shopped quickly and used lots of exciting affordable resources, including pieces from my BeeLine Home collection. All the rooms are colorful, stylish, and totally suitable for indoor/outdoor living.
