I was so thrilled to be invitied to participate in The Pink Wishbone Project to benefit the Breast Cancer Reasearch Foundation. It will take place on October 7th, from 6:00-8:00, at Barney’s on Madison Ave. in the Chelsea Passage department. 20 top women interior designers including Alexa Hampton, Allegra Hicks.Celerie Kemble, and Kelly Wearstler, were asked to take Hans Wegner’s iconic Wishbone chair, painted pink to celebrate the cause, and design a cushion for it. The chairs with their cushions will be sold and 100% of the profits will benefit the foundation.

The cushions are fabulous – some are gorgeous, some are witty, and some are wonderfully outrageous. My cushion is ready for the “catwalk” with its brown and pink silk fabric, moss fringe, sequined buttons, and polka dot ribbons. I love the retro chic edge it gives the chair. Thanks to A Schneller & Sons, M & J Trimming, Elegant Fabrics, and Suite NY for donating the chairs and organizing the project.

Come and join us!!
